insanely cool how capitalist social platforms are banning anyone talking about sex like its the fucking victorian era but you can literally be in the ku klux klan and theyll just shrug

Advertisers somehow think that people will be turned off to their brand if it's displayed next to sex and nudity, something natural and that we all take part in (the nudity at least)

Yet they think that their stuff being in the same frame as neo-nazi shit isn't as detrimental to their image?

@ShinjiBikari @dankwraith I think for a lot of platforms (*cough* YouTube) the Nazi's actually drive a lot of ad revenue...

@iitalics @ShinjiBikari @dankwraith thanks to garbage like PragerU, sometimes the nazis ARE the ad revenue

@iitalics @ShinjiBikari @dankwraith and sadly no one has found a way to make money with sex pictures online

@dankwraith Let's be honest, you can skip text posts you don't like just fine even at work or on the bus, but you can't scroll past nudes or porn without people being able to tell what it is. So like it or not, it's understandable to go about it that way. Plus if you start banning ideas, you need to nuke basically everything past pg-13 content to have any semblance of fairness.

@dankwraith Nudes are #gwoss but Third Reich lovers, yes, that’s our Market and Brand.

@dankwraith i find it even more insane that people spend >$1000 for a device that is tied to an ecosystem that thinks it knows best what content is good for their users and what not. And worst: it even dictates this paradigm in such a way that it influences people who actually avoid this ecosystem...
